Here at Zent Family Dentistry, one of the principles of our practice is that we build our patient relationships on a foundation of trust from day one. We hope that you have felt and experienced that trust throughout our relationship together. We very much value our relationship and the opportunity to serve you and your family.

We alerted you a few months ago that we were weighing some pros and cons as to whether we should stay in network with Delta Dental. At this time, we have decided that we will NOT remain an in-network provider with Delta Dental, effective January 1, 2025. Through the end of this year, 2024, we will remain in-network with Delta Dental, so there won’t be any changes until January 2025.

After January 1, 2025, there will be some changes, but many things won’t change. For instance, we will still submit your claims to Delta Dental and, in most cases, they will still pay us, on your behalf. In addition, our payment plan options and policies will remain the same as well, regardless of whether we are in-network with Delta Dental or not.

More than anything, we hope you know that you still have the option to stay here at Zent Family Dentistry. We did not make this decision lightly and ultimately; we think it is best for all of us. We sincerely hope that you will remain with us for your dental care, and we look forward to serving you for years to come.

Why did you make the decision to go out-of-network with my insurance?

• Patient care is most important to all of us at Zent Family Dentistry.

• In the ever-changing world, especially post-Covid, Zent Family Dentistry, and dentistry as a whole, has had to evolve. Delta Dental has not evolved with us.

• We do not feel that our patient-centered philosophy aligns with Delta Dental.

• We feel it has been hindering us in our ability to care for our patients in the way that we would like to.

Will you still file my insurance claims for me?

• We most certainly will!

• Even when we are out-of-network with Delta Dental, as of January 1, 2025, we will still file your claims for you, on your behalf.

• Currently, we are out-of-network with most insurance companies. In fact, over 50% of our patients already see us as an out-of-network provider!

We plan to continue to be your Dental Health Care Provider and are here to help you with your due diligence as you determine what is best for your family’s dental care in 2025, after we are out-of-network with Delta Dental. We wanted to notify you of this change now to provide you with education so that you might know all of your potential options in 2025.

Just remember, you can still keep Zent Family Dentistry as your Dental Healthcare Provider, even when we are out-of-network with your insurance plan. In addition, we will still accept Delta Dental, and we will continue to send claims on behalf of all of our patients, whether we are considered in or out-of network with their insurance plan.
